The Story

Built By an Operator,
For Operators

Not a startup pitch. A grid admin who got tired of six dashboards and built the seventh one to replace all of them.

15+ Years in Virtual Worlds

DragonCommand is built by Gundahar Bravin (mteedev) — Events Manager, Web Admin, and Coder at NeverWorld Grid, with over 15 years of virtual world development experience. This isn't a weekend side project; it's the tool an actual grid operator needed and couldn't find anywhere else.

Proven on a Real Grid

Every feature in DragonCommand runs in production on MS Axiom, a 969-meter virtual cruise liner in OpenSimulator. Nothing ships that hasn't been tested against a real grid, real residents, and real edge cases.

Why This Exists

The Problem With the Old Stack

Every serious OpenSimulator grid cobbles together WordPress + w4os for registration, consoles for regions, a separate marketplace plugin if even available, and a pile of custom PHP scripts holding it all together. None of it was designed to work as one system — it just accumulated, one 2am security patch at a time. Face it, all of the old PHP based dashboards go the way of the dinosaurs.

The Philosophy

Security-First, Always

No XMLRPC

The WordPress community used XMLRPC for region management for years — loose passwords, no encryption. DragonCommand rejected it entirely from day one.

Nothing Exposed to the Internet

OpenSim itself never faces the public internet. DragonCommand is always the authenticated, secure proxy standing in front of it.

Open Source Commitment

Community Edition Stays Free

Community Edition ships under GPL v3. Any grid operator running a single grid can self-host DragonCommand at no cost, forever. The Dragon Rider and Enterprise tiers exist to fund continued development — not to paywall the core platform.
